EchoRisk-MICCAI at MICCAI 2026

Mar 19, 2026

We are pleased to announce that our challenge proposal, “EchoRisk-MICCAI: AI for Cardiac Function Estimation, Assessment & Early Prediction of Therapy-Induced Cardiotoxicity from Echocardiography” (Proposal ID: 234), has been officially accepted as a Satellite Event at MICCAI 2026.

MICCAI 2026 Satellite Events — including workshops, challenges, and tutorials — will take place on October 4 and 8, 2026, in Abu Dhabi, at the main conference venue. These events, together with dedicated clinical days, provide specialized forums that focus on the latest advances in medical image analysis and computer-assisted interventions.

Our EchoRisk-MICCAI challenge aims to leverage artificial intelligence to:

  • estimate cardiac function from echocardiography,

  • assess key cardiac biomarkers,

  • and enable early prediction of therapy-induced cardiotoxicity.

The acceptance of this proposal as part of MICCAI 2026 is an important recognition of our work and reinforces our commitment to developing innovative, clinically impactful AI solutions in cardiovascular healthcare.
