An Interdisciplinary Approach for the Management of the Elderly Multimorbid Patient with Breast Cancer Therapy Induced Cardiac Toxicity

CARDIOCARE achieves exciting progress: Two papers accepted for EMBC 2025

Apr 25, 2025

We are thrilled to share that two of our innovative papers have been accepted for presentation at the 47th Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, to be held in Bella Center, Copenhagen, Denmark, July 14-17, 2025.. This recognition highlights the cutting-edge research we are conducting to improve cardiac care for cancer patients, and we are excited to present our findings to the global healthcare community.

Paper 1: Behavioral and Psycho-Emotional mHealth Interventions for Elderly Breast Cancer Patients with Cardiac Toxicity

Paper 2: Utilizing Machine Learning for the Identification of Pre-Treatment Prognostic Non-Imaging Biomarkers of Cancer Therapy-Related Cardiac Dysfunction in Female Patients with Breast Cancer

Both of these studies represent the intersection of technology, data science, and patient-centered care—key components of our mission to improve the management and outcomes of cancer therapy-related cardiac dysfunction. We are committed to developing innovative solutions that not only address the immediate challenges of cancer treatment but also improve long-term patient health and well-being.

Being selected to present at EMBC 2025 is an exciting achievement for our team, and we look forward to engaging with fellow researchers and healthcare professionals as we work together to enhance patient care.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to push the boundaries of research in this critical area of healthcare.
