The CARDIOCARE project proudly participated in the 5th Scientific event entitled “Breast Cancer and the Contemporary Challenges in Clinical Management“, held on December 6-8, 2024 in Athens. The prestigious event brought together leading researchers, clinicians, and experts involved in breast cancer treatment, to discuss advances and challenges in breast cancer research.

During the session entitled “Strength in Unity – Cardio-Oncology”, Dr. Tsekoura, NKUA delivered a compelling presentation on the CARDIOCARE project, titled: “CARDIOCARE project: Early Detection of Cardiotoxicity”. The presentation highlighted the project’s innovative approaches to early identification of cardiotoxic effects in cancer patients undergoing therapy, showcasing its potential to improve patient outcomes in cardio-oncology.

The event provided an excellent platform for CARDIOCARE to share insights and connect with the broader scientific community, furthering its commitment to innovation in patient care.
