CARDIOCARE in the InnoHealth Satellite Event “Women health & FemTech”

Jun 25, 2024

CARDIOCARE participated in the InnoHealth Satellite Event #3Women health & FemTech” that took place on June 15, 2024 in Volos, Greece.

Medical studies worldwide show that health problems in women have been increasing in recent years, and experts point out that there is an urgent need to take measures to improve women’s health: General health, preventive care, and safety are key pillars in the issue of improving women’s health.

InnoHealth Satellite #3 is an open event dedicated to this critical topic. In particular, the first interview will highlight important issues related to breast cancer (prevention and treatment) and the role of technology in the process of prevention and early diagnosis of the disease. The second interview aims to present important dimensions concerning the fertility of both women and men.

How important is prevention in the effective treatment of breast cancer? What is the role of technology in effective prevention and early diagnosis? What are the stages of assisted reproduction? How affordable and accessible is the process for women and couples? What are the current methods and developments and how does technology contribute to the assisted reproduction process?

These are just a few of the questions that will be discussed and answered by experts at InnoHealth Satellite #3, aiming to provide an overview of two important topics related to women’s health and the contribution of relevant medical technology to improving women’s health.

The program of the event (in Greek) can be found here.

The event was organized by JOIST Innovation Park, Health Hub and Region of Thessaly.
