CardioCare at the 2day event: “Breast Cancer from Ancient Times to Today: Narratives – Illustrations – Answers”

Oct 18, 2024

CARDIOCARE is proud to have participated in the event “Breast Cancer from Ancient Times to Today: Narratives – Illustrations – Answers“, held on October 14th in Ioannina, Greece. The event was organized by the Division of Classics of the Philology Department at the University of Ioannina and brought together experts, scholars, and healthcare professionals to explore the historical and contemporary perspectives of breast cancer.

This unique event offered a rich exploration of breast cancer’s portrayal from ancient times to today, delving into the narratives and illustrations that have shaped our understanding of the disease. It also provided an important platform to discuss modern medical approaches.

We would like to extend our thanks to the organizers for the opportunity to be part of such an event and to all the attendees who contributed to this insightful event. Together, we can continue to raise awareness and improve the lives of those affected by breast cancer.

The program of the event can be found here (in Greek).
